Born: 20.6.2000 Died: 9.11.2002 Parents: Blazingsun Free Spirit and Capstaff Fandango Place: Carburg Kennels Country: Central Queensland Australia Owners: Jewel lives with Alan Heritage Jewel as she is better known is also a litter sister to Ollie. Jewel was born to be heard and hasn't changed since. She is hyperactive .. and loves to run non stop all day every day .. there is just no stopping this girl .. She is an attention seeker and knows just how to get it .. Just like me .. her dad Burger .. Jewel spends most of her time on the property with our Dad Allen .. Allen and Jewel sure are best friends .. I get to see Jewel when Allen comes to stay in town or me Mum goes t stay on the farm .. Jewel lived with us until she was 15 months old .. you see when she was little many people came and saw Jewel but .. me Mum felt they had the wrong motives for wanting her .. so me Mum doesn't just let anyone take our kids .. she sure susses them out first. No one suited Jewel .. so she stayed with us until she was older .. Mum found a home for Jewel with a family who appeared to be right but turned out not to be so right for a staffy which hurt us all .. You can read about Jewels misadventureds in the Staffie Rescue Pages Jewel is now well and truly settled and is also having her first children in September .. Yes babies in September 2002. UPDATE: Jewel had 2 babies in September but both sadly died at birth. Jewel loves living on the farm .. she has our Dad to herself and gets all his love .. they go everywhere together .. She never misses a chance to get into the F100 or the Merc if a door is open .. visiting .. shopping or just for a ride to the gemfields or the farm .. Allen always said no dogs in the house .. Oh yes famous last words .. Jewel sleeps beside him on a beautiful rug .. eats with him in the kitchen and sits with him and watches TV .. there's also a lovely old fashioned wood stove on the farm .. Allen restored and polished it up so he and Jewel could sit in front and keep warm during the cold weather. Now if that ain't a dogs life I realy have no idea what is .. since Jewel has been with Allen she is looking healthy again and doing very well .. she has a great lifestyle and they are so in love with each other .. Allen and Jewel sure make a charming couple .. Of course Jewel has Allen wrapped around her little paw .. they are making wonderful progress and both the best buddies you did ever see. So there is a happy ending at the end of the rainbow for both of them.
