Gladstone Kennel Club Incorporated Canine Championship Show Gladstone Queensland Australia's 26 and 27 January 2002 Capstaff Fandango [Burger] and Burgers 2 daughters Carburg Blazing Jewel [Jewel] Carburg Blazing Kwyolin [Ollie] Will all be shown at the Gladstone Canine Championship Show on 26 and 27 January 2002. We will also have the pleasure of meeting personally Mr. Masanobu Minogaki from Typhostuff Staffordshire Bull Terrier Kennels in Japan at the Gladstone Canine Champianship Show .. Masanobu's visit is to enable him to watch how the Canine Show Circuit is conducted in Australia. Mr. Minogaki purchased Carburg Waihine in November 2001 and took delivery of Carburg Horagi for Mr. Shimazki in October 2001 .. although winning a ribbon would be a proud moment it will only be a bonus as showing the Japanese Staffy Breeders the friendship and hospitality of the Australian Staffy World is my main objective. I .. "Burger that's me" .. will be on my best behavior on this occasion for me Mum .. she'll be so proud of me .. you can be sure I will be keeping an eye on my two daughters while showing them how a champion should behave .. Oh Yeah .. me Mum said to wish everyone a very Happy New Year for 2002 from Carburg Kennels. Update: Capstaff Fandango [Burger] placed 3rd. on Saturday but he decided he'd had enough after that and just wanted to play or rather 'eat' the neighbouring contestants .. so that was that! Carburg Blazing Kwyolin [Ollie] performed like a real chap .. she did not get a place but proved to have great potential. Carburg Blazing Jewel [Jewel] used the day as an outing and just wanted to socialize but on Staurday behaved long enough to get a 3rd. place. On the whole my 'Staffy Children' behave very badly infront of my friends but I guess that's 'outback' kids for you when they get into town .. it really is exciting for them to go for a long drive in a car and look around the city .. who wants to proform at a show .. not my kids!! I must admit it was all worth it as my Japanese friends where wonderful company and looked on with great interest .. thank you once again Emi and Masanobu! Stay tuned for the next show news!
